Days Fly Past

First academic day in my life,
Unaware of what lay ahead- The Great Strife.
'Twas hard and the day seemed vast. 
Yet, such is life, days fly past.

First picnic with my fellow tiny tots
Craved for more such days, rather than gold filled pots. 
In a snap, the picnic was over and there I lay, in aghast. 
Yet, such is life, days fly past.

First scolding from my mom, 
And wept like a new born.
Felt like it was my end, it was my last,
Yet, such is life, days fly past.

First time aced amongst my peers,
Even cloud nine was in tears.
Threw a party, yearned for time to not be fast,
Yet, such is life, days fly past.

College- New chapter, New beginning, started amateur..
Sigh! Away from home, away from grandeur.
How slow the first week crawled, in no haste..
Yet, such is life, days fly past.

What I learned till now, and so did you,
When in pain, when in gain, 
Live every moment, because life is such, days fly past.
